The Science of Light Care

The Science of Light Care

Ververay products are designed to make light care easier to include in everyday at-home routines.

Product specifications and intended routines vary. Always review the information and instructions supplied with the individual product.

Red Light Technology

Red light is part of the visible light spectrum. Near-infrared light is located beyond the visible red portion of the spectrum and is not seen in the same way by the human eye.

Depending on the individual product, a light-care device may use visible red light, near-infrared light or a combination of light types.

The presence of a particular light type should always be confirmed using the specifications for the individual product.

Wavelength Education

Wavelength describes the position of light within the electromagnetic spectrum and is commonly measured in nanometres.

Different wavelengths have different physical characteristics. This does not mean that every Ververay product uses the same wavelengths or has the same intended routine.

Refer to the confirmed product specifications and supplied instructions for product-specific wavelength information.

Product Safety

Responsible use begins with the instructions provided for the individual product.

Before use:

  • Inspect the product for visible damage
  • Follow the supplied setup and operating instructions
  • Do not stare directly into the light source
  • Do not use the product on broken or severely irritated skin unless the supplied instructions specifically permit it
  • Stop use if you experience unexpected discomfort

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before use if you have a health condition, are pregnant, take photosensitizing medication or have concerns about light exposure.

Responsible Use

Light-care routines vary by product. Use only the operating time, frequency and setup described in the supplied product instructions.

Do not assume that guidance for one Ververay product applies to another product.
